Here is an author I’ve loved since I read her first novel, Shades of Honor, back in 2002. At the time I was a debut author with my first romance novel Prairie Bride, and I had the great pleasure of meeting Wendy Lindstrom at an RWA conference when she was nominated for a Golden Heart award. She went on to win that award, sold her novel to a major New York publisher, and later went on to win a prestigious Romance Writers of America Rita award for Best First Book.
Now here we are, many years later, and I still love her emotionally compelling, heartfelt stories as much as I did then. How wonderful that those older titles are available again to a whole new generation of readers to enjoy, and I have it on good authority that Ms. Lindstrom is hard at work on a brand new book in the Grayson series that will be available in the summer of 2014. I can say without hesitation that I will be first in line to order it.
In the meantime, here’s a description of THE LONGING, a beautiful romance that will warm your heart. Enjoy! (Note: If you’re reading this blog on April 10, 2014, you’re in luck because the book is on sale for 99 cents for a limited time. See links below…)
